Iron link chain

This iron loop is an ideal mooring element to relieve the windlass of the tensile load. It limits the tension of the chain on the boat's cleats or on the windlass. It limits the tension of the chain on the boat's cleats or on the windlass.
For mooring in complete safety, the iron loop is the perfect device. It is fitted directly into the chain links to distribute the forces and loads exerted on the chain and also on the windlass.
If necessary, this loop has no shackle, so it can be released easily. Made from moulded and polished AISI 316 stainless steel, this loop offers excellent resistance.
Accastillage Diffusion offers two models of loop:
- Diameter 6/8mm with a breaking load of 3.9T.
- Diameter 10/12mm with a breaking load of 6.3T.
This mooring equipment is suitable for all types of boat, such as anchor mooring on speedboats, catamarans or cruisers. This hook can also be used for mooring on a crow's foot.
