14 NAUTIC CLEAN passivating rust remover gel is a professional acid-based solution (pH: 2) that eliminates persistent rust, corrosion and oxidation. This product works on all stainless steel, steel, zinc, aluminium and alloy surfaces, etc.
The rust remover gel also contains a corrosion inhibitor that delays rust formation. It comes in a 500ml bottle. In its physical state, the gel is viscous (so it adheres to vertical surfaces without dripping or splashing), light yellow in colour and has a specific gravity of 1.06. It contains mainly hydrogen fluoride, hydrochloric acid and isotridecanol ethoxylate.
Its three actions are:
Deoxidising
Degreasing which removes all types of dirt
Passivating which protects against corrosion thanks to its adapted chemical formula.
