To protect your fittings, self-vulcanising tape is the ideal accessory. This self-retracting elastomer tape can be used to protect and block turnbuckles, water pipes, exhaust systems, rigging, fishing or diving equipment, wiring, etc.

- Clean the area to be protected and then cut a piece of tape to the required size.
- Remove and discard the protective plastic film from the tape and use one of the two sides.
- Hold the tape in position and wrap it around the piece until the tape is doubled. This first wrap consolidates the other layers.
- Continue wrapping, ensuring that each new layer of tape partially covers the tape and the bare part. An overlap that will allow the tape to self-fuse.
- Maintain a constant stretch throughout the application.
